Mrs. Wonda M. Gaddy, 48, of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at her home.
Mrs. Gaddy was born February 28, 1971, in Newnan, daughter of the late James and Nellie Ruth Crook Wellborn. A lifelong resident of Coweta County, she was a graduate of Newnan High School and had been employed at Rite Aid Distribution Center. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Oaklawn Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, worked with the youth, and worked on Habitat mission trips.
Survivors include her children, Andrew and Mallory Gaddy and their daughter Payton of Newnan, Kayla and Gree Roberts of Pooler, Cassidy Gaddy of Newnan; sister, Darlene Bearden of Newnan; brother, Larry Hayes of Newnan; mother in-law, Betty Gaddy; brothers in-law, Todd Gaddy, Joey and Carla Gaddy, all of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Gaddy; brothers, Roger Feltman and Darwin Watkins; and sister, Jo Thacker.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend David Arrington and the Reverend Joey Gaddy will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night.
