Mrs. Wilma Faulkner Hatley, 87, of Grantville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Hatley was born March 4, 1929, in Cleburne County, Alabama, daughter of the late Jim and Lillie Skinner Faulkner. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and retired from Alenco Corporation in Peachtree City. Her love for her sons was the most important part of her life and she enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles and working in her yard.
Survivors include her son, Brian Keith Holtzclaw and his wife, Cyndi of Newnan; sisters, Bernice Graham of Fayetteville, Betty Prescott of Pine Mountain; brothers, Willie Faulkner and Alfred Faulkner, both of Newnan; grandson, Matthew Calhoun of Grantville; and Glennie Bailey who she loved as a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Holtzclaw.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend L. B. Rooks and the Reverend Dan Odom will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night.
