Willodean Headley Gable

MRS. WILLODEAN GABLE

Mrs. Willodean H. Gable, age 88 of Lagrange, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at Florence Hand Home.

Born December 18, 1937 in Clanton, AL, Mrs. Gable was the daughter of the late Claude Cleveland Headley and Fannie Bell Baker Headley. She was a resident of LaGrange for most of her life, worked at K-Mart for a number of years, and loved taking care of her family and anyone who needed help.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Brittany Crawford, Marianna Usry, Robert Grate, Curtis Smith, Austin Wright, and Kevin Smith; step-daughters, Patricia Ann Evans and Peggy Spradlin; step-son, Henry Lee Gable; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gable was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Gable; her first husband, Curtis Smith; sons, Larry Smith and Mark Smith; daughter, Cindy Gable; grandchildren, Danielle Redden, J J Crawford, Brandon Smith, and Ryan Smith; and a number of brothers and sisters.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
