William Edward Stratman, Sr.

MR. WILLIAM E. STRATMAN, SR. Mr. William Edward Stratman, Sr., 72, of Greenville, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Stratman was born March 31, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Edward and Hilda Brand Stratman. He lived in Tampa, Florida from 1964 until making his home in Greenville in 2006 and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic. Survivors include his daughters and sons in-law, Melanie and James Bercaw of Waverly Hall and Lynn and William Kazmer of Brooksville, FL; his sons, Wayne Stratman of Greenville and William E. Stratman II of Tampa, FL; and four grandchildren. The body has been cremated and there will be no service conducted at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
