William Britton "Britt" Seegar, 49, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, from congestive heart failure at his home in Warm Springs, surrounded by family and friends.
Britt is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Britton Seegar, and is survived by his wife, Sandra "Sam" Seegar of Warm Springs; his mother and step-father, Beverly and Bill Meadows; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Alan Washington; brother, Daniel Meadows, all of LaGrange; brother-in-law, Terrence and sister-in-law, Toni Kay, of Phoenix, AZ; step-children, Candy Godfrey, Timothy Godfrey, and Krysta Fuller, his adored grandchildren, Catelyn, Cayleigh, and Chloe Godfrey; and many nieces and nephews, one of which stole his heart from the moment she was born, Cheyanne Smith.
There was no man as stubborn as Britt Seegar. His step-mother, Nancy Seegar once said "don't try to change his mind, it is like hitting a brick wall." Britt did everything his way, and there were no gray areas in his mindset. He loved with his whole heart and gave unconditionally, while always thinking of others.
