MR. WILLIAM L. (BILL) TUCKER Mr. William L. (Bill) Tucker, 66, of Newnan, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dan Odom and the Reverend Rhys Key will officiate, with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Valley, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Born December 15, 1945, Mr. Tucker was the son of the late Charlie and Mae Payton Tucker, and was a lifelong resident of Newnan. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was a graduate of Clayton State College, and retired as an accountant from the City of Atlanta Police Department. He was a member of Welcome Road Baptist Church in Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Carey Justiss Tucker of Newnan; sister in-law, Janet Tucker of Senoia; brothers in-law and their wives, Marc and Dorothy Justiss, Emery and Pat Justiss, all of Valley, AL; very special friends that in his heart he considered as his grandchildren, Stephanie, Scott, Hope, Owen, William, Rebekah, and Elizabeth Faulkner; and several special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Friday night, November 16th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 17th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Fairview Cemetery in Valley, Alabama
