WILLIAM JOSEPH "BILL" KENNEDY

Mr. William Joseph "Bill" Kennedy, age 55 of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Kennedy was born January 22, 1971 in Indiana and had been a resident of Meriwether County for the past 21 years. He worked at Owens-Corning in Palmetto and previously worked for Owens-Illinois. Mr. Kennedy loved playing pool, growing his tomato plants, his dog, and being in his man cave.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda Kennedy of Greenville; children, Taylor (Emily) Kennedy of Newnan, Kori Kennedy of Newnan, Tiffany Redwine of Newnan, and Jeremy (Courtney) Duncan, of Franklin; his mother, Betty Boyd of Kentucky; sisters, Katherine Solis of California and Jennifer Elough of Indiana; brothers, JR Kennedy of Alvaton, Steve Kennedy of Franklin, Brian Kennedy of Indiana, Bobby Davis of Indiana, and Timothy Davis of Indiana; 10 grandchildren. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Kennedy.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Evangelist Jeremy Phillips officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Tuesday.
