William M. (Mike) Henson

MR. MIKE HENSON Mr. William M. (Mike) Henson, 58, of the Louise Community of Troup County, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mr. Henson was born March 20, 1954, in LaGrange, son of the late Jack Henson and Elizabeth Coker Henson Rice. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he retired from Johnston Industries in Valley, AL and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his daughters and son in-law, Tonnia and Jeff Griffin of Valley, AL, Linda Sullivan of Ellijay; surviving mother, Agnes Henson of the Louise Community; sisters, Patsy Doran and Rhonda Laudig of LaGrange; brother, Mark Rice of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Andrew Jeffrey Griffin, Hayley Sullivan, Emily Sullivan, Justyn Sullivan, Keltyn McKinley. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, July 16, at Claude A.
