William E. (Ed) Gaddy

MR. ED GADDY Mr. William E. (Ed) Gaddy, 75, of Newnan, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Bethesda Pentecostal Holiness Church in Newnan. The Reverend Cliff Hendrix and the Reverend Harry Gann will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. Mr. Gaddy was born April 15, 1934, in Troup county, son of the late Starling and Mary Lou Tidwell Gaddy. He lived in Coweta county most of his life, was a member of Bethesda Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was retired from Shaw Industries in Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Winkles Gaddy of Newnan; daughters, Wanda Faye Crider and Mary Elizabeth Turner, both of Grantville, and Beverly Ann Gaddy of Newnan; son, Donald William Gaddy of Carrollton; sister, Sue Bearden of Carrollton; fifteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
