Mr. William David Cantrell, 60, of Roanoke, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Cantrell was born February 10, 1957, in LaGrange, son of the late William and Joanne Smith Cantrell. A veteran of service in the U.S. Navy, he lived in Coweta County before making his home in Roanoke and was a self-employed drywall contractor.
Survivors include his children, Shirley Brimer and her husband Ben of Sharpsburg, Jason Moore, Jeremy "Bo" Cantrell and his wife Paige, Jessica Morris and her husband Chris, and Tony Cantrell, all of Roanoke; former daughter in-law, Judy Millar; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Nawana Winkles of Wedowee, Alabama, Felicia Doler of Wadley, Alabama; and brother, Randy Cantrell of Roanoke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Ann Washburn Cantrell, and his son,William Scott Cantrell.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Mr. Ben Brimer officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Thursday afternoon.
