William Paul "Billy" Brand

Billy Brand, 35, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Born November 10, 1988, Billy was a lifelong resident of LaGrange and was employed as a steel worker. He is remembered as a good person who had many friends and enjoyed walking and riding his bicycle.

Survivors include his mother, Debra Brand of LaGrange; his father, Fred William Brand, also of LaGrange; his sister, Candice Crawford of Arkansas; his grandmother, Elizabeth Cosper of LaGrange; half-sisters; half-brothers; nieces; nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Kenneth Rice and the Reverend Bryan Geter will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27.
