William Neal "Billy" Allen

Mr. William Neal "Billy" Allen, 65, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Allen was born September 26, 1956, in LaGrange, son of the late Lawson Lovett Allen, Jr. and Lois Omattie Neal Allen. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he was employed as a millwright, enjoyed auto mechanics, and loved making things. Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Allen of Ellenwood, Jessica Allen of Arizona; son, Neal Allen of LaGrange; sister, Joyce Janney of Sharpsburg; brothers, Darnell Allen, Jimmy and Edith Allen, all of Hogansville; and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jo Weaver; and brothers, Bobby Allen and Ricky Allen. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Louise Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
