MRS. WILLENE PIERCE Mrs. Willene Winkles Pierce, 72, of Newnan, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 29, at the graveside in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, with the Reverend Joe Strickland officiating. Mrs. Pierce was born August 25, 1937, in Coweta County, daughter of the late Elisha and Pearl "Teen" Barrentine Winkles. She was a homemaker, lived in Newnan most of her life, and had attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Newnan. Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Pierce; daughter, Deborah McLamb; son and daughter in-law, Bubba and Nixola Pierce, all of Newnan; and four grandchildren, Cassie McLamb, Wayne McLamb, Kathleen McLamb, Christina Phillips and her husband, J.J., and Nicholas Pierce.
