Whitaya "Whit" Chaisit

Mr. Whitaya "Whit" Chaisit, age 78 of Luthersville, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at his home.

Born October 19, 1947 in Thailand, Mr. Chaisit was the son of the late Kum and Jom Chaisit. He was later adopted and brought to the United States by Frank and Betty Ochsenfield and was a resident of Georgia since 1970 and owned and operated Whit's Heating and Air in Marietta for over 30 years. Mr. Chaisit loved hunting and fishing, traveling, and being with his family. He will be remembered for always taking care of people and never turning down anyone in need.

Survivors include his wife, Sasiya Chaisit of Luthersville; children, George Chaisit of Luthersville, Pong (Cynthia) Seekaew of Canton, and James Chaisit of Fort Bragg, NC; sisters, Sangdow Chaisit of Thailand, Jeanne Cravens of Blairsville, and Terri (Steve) Allison of Montgomery, AL; 13 grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
