Wesley Joel Fowler, 28. Of Grantville, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
Wesley was born July 22, 1992, in Newnan and lived in Coweta County most of his life. He was employed by CTE Underground Tank Inspections and was a member of Grantville First Baptist Church, now known as Change Church. He enjoyed reading and drawing, loved being with his family and friends, and was a very selfless individual who would help anyone in any way. He had a way of making everyone around him smile and people gravitated towards him because of it.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Sybil Melissa "Missy" Walker and Benjamine Haggerty of Newnan; father and step-mother, Joel Carroll Fowler, Jr. and Tina Renae Fowler of Hogansville; sisters, Krystal Fowler, Kristen Weaver, Brittany Faulkner, Dezirae Anderson, Ryleigh Williams, Eva Eskew, Saydie Mann; brothers, Justin Harmon, Casey Cain, Donovon Haggerty, Troy Haggerty, Tristan Haney, Jadyn Haney, Waylon Eskew; grandparents, Sybil and Robert Harrison, Marcus "Foots" Walker, Cathy Southern; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ayden Mann; grandfather, Joel Carroll Fowler, Sr; step-grandfather, Carl Ray Southern, and great grandparents, Nana and Gramps
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville, with Pastor T.J. Boyd, Pastor Brian Hosmer, and Pastor Wayne Stewart officiating.
Friends may visit the funeral home for viewing and to sign the guest book from 12:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26.
