Wesley Starr Bellamy

MR. WESLEY S. BELLAMY Mr. Wesley S. Bellamy, 90, of Luthersville, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan. Mr. Bellamy was born February 25, 1924, in Tacoma, Washington, son of the late Marion Starr Bellamy and Ethel May Kelley Bellamy. A veteran of service in the U. S. Navy during World War Two, he lived in Luthersville most of his life and retired as staff manager from Gulf Life Insurance Company in Newnan. He was a former member and deacon of Luthersville Baptist Church and was a member of Bexton Road Baptist Church in Moreland. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ella Martin Bellamy of Luthersville; daughter, Terry Ellen Thompson and her husband, Peter of Moreland; son, Wesley M. Bellamy of Elizabeth City, NC; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with the Reverend Wendell Burdette officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Luthersville Cemetery Fund, %Southcrest Bank, P. O. Box 237, Luthersville, GA 30251. Claude A.
