Wendy Michelle Toney

Wendy Michelle Toney, 45, of Fremont, NC, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Wendy was born January 14, 1979, in Atlanta, daughter of the late William Earl "Bill" Toney and Barbara Vineyard Toney. She was a resident of Fremont for the past 35 years and was a member of Fremont Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brothers, Sam Toney of Fremont, William "Mike" Toney and his wife Carla Toney of Raleigh, Bob Toney and his wife Angie Toney of Faison, NC; and her niece, Emma Toney.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, at Freemont Missionary Baptist Church, with Wilson Memorial Service of Wilson, NC in charge.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 22, at Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Pastor Greg Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 22.
