Wendell Lee Hill

Mr. Wendell L. Hill, 73, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, in Gordon. Mr. Hill was born February 11, 1944, in Hogansville, son of the late Alfred and Eddie Ragsdale Hill. He lived in Troup County most of his life, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville and was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Survivors include his sons, Brian Hill of Munford, AL, Chris Hill of Lincoln, AL, Stephen Hill of Eastaboga, AL, and David Hill of Birmingham, AL; his brother, John Hill of Arlington, TX; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Layvon Crews; and brothers, Parnell Hill and Ronald Hill. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
