MR. WAYNE F. HUNT Mr. Wayne F. Hunt, 72, of Hogansville, died Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend W. T. Bates and the Reverend Max McCord will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Born May 21, 1938, in Troup County, Mr. Hunt was the son of the late Tommy and Lurline Dollar Hunt. He was a lifelong resident of the Hogansville area, was retired from Westek, Inc., and attended Harrisonville Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Anne Moore Hunt of Hogansville; son, Steve Hunt of Hogansville; sisters, Frances Wood of LaGrange, Joyce Willingham, Nancy Copeland, and Debra Gaddy, all of Hogansville, Linda Scott of Newnan, and Peggy Powell of Franklin; brothers, Ray Hunt and Jimmy Hunt, both of Hogansville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 7 until 9 Monday night, August 9th, at Claude A.
