Wayne Helton

MR. WAYNE HELTON Mr. Wayne Helton, 69, of Hogansville, died Friday, June 27, 2014, at his home. Born March 20, 1945, in Newnan, Mr. Helton was the son of the late Ezra and Alma Helton Sr. He was a self-employed drywall contractor, a resident of Hogansville for 16 years, and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Helton; sons, Duane Helton of Hogansville and Charles Helton of Grantville; step-sons, Anthony Jackson of Hogansville and James Jackson of Sharpsburg; sister, Martha Ann Bailey of Newnan; brothers, Elliott Helton of Newnan and Joe Helton of Union, SC; and 3 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Helton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2014 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Stanley Rogers, Reverend Donnie Shelton, and Reverend T.J. Boyd officiating.
