Wayne L. Gay

MR. WAYNE L. GAY Mr. Wayne L. Gay, 39, of Greenville, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Warm Springs Medical Center. Mr. Gay was born February 19, 1975, in Clayton County, and was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County. He was a member of Stovall Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Anthony Wayne Gay and Dalton Blake Haney; his mother, Brenda Gay; and his maternal grandmother, Edna Fields, all of Greenville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Gay. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at Stovall Baptist Church. The Reverend Terry Prestridge will officiate and interment will be in the Pine Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Wednesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
