Mrs. Wanda Gail Calhoun Howard, 54, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Howard was born January 28, 1962, in Roanoke, Alabama and was a 1980 graduate of Handley High School in Roanoke. A resident of Troup County since 1983, she was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, was employed by Hogansville Pharmacy for ten years, and more recently served as the front-end manager for Healthmart Pharmacy in Hogansville. She loved her cats, was an avid shopper, and enjoyed being with people.
Survivors include her husband, Craig Howard of Hogansville; her mother, Gloria Calhoun of Roanoke; sister, Shelia and Mack McKinley of Carrollton; brother, Steve Calhoun and Lori McDaniel of Wedowee, AL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Shelley Lawrence Calhoun.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm (EDT)., Friday, June 10, at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. The Reverend Donald Yancey and the Reverend Dennis Farr will officiate and interment will be in Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (EDT) Thursday night.
