Wade B. Crews

Mr. Wade B. Crews, 77, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Crews was born November 10, 1945, in Meriwether County, son of the late Gilbert Ellis Crews and Opal O'Neal Crews. A U. S. Army veteran of service in the Vietnam War, he served as a Major in the Tennessee State Guard, and retired as a marketing director for AT&T. He was an avid golfer, loved old westerns, country music and firearms, and was a history buff.

Survivors include his sons, Chade Johnson of LaFayette and Brad Weaver of Ringgold; brother and sister in-law, Jimmy and Janet Crews of Grantville; and two grandchildren.
