Vonceil Smith O'Neal

Mrs. Vonceil Smith O'Neal, 68, of Woodbury, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021. Mrs. O'Neal was born June 3, 1952, in Newnan, daughter of the late Cecil and Boyce Smith. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was employed as a quality control technician for Amcor Packaging in Peachtree City prior to her retirement. She was Baptist by faith, enjoyed gardening, and loved to cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Danny Cole; her newborn infant; and her sister, Wanda Sue Smith.. Survivors include her best friend, Toby Gigliotti of Woodbury; daughter and son in-law, Ginger and Kenneth Fetter; son and daughter in-law, Brian and Kendra Pettite, all of Newnan; sister and brother in-law, Darlene and Bob Wilhite of Sharpsburg; grandson, Dale Cole; two nieces; and several cousins. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor T.J. Boyd will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
