MRS. VIVIAN H. BETTS
Mrs. Vivian Hill Betts, of the Harrisonville Community, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend W. T. Bates and Mr. Eddy Wood will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Born February 9, 1926, in Heard County, Mrs. Betts was the daughter of the late Frank and Lera Morgan Hill. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County and was a member of Harrisonville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who cared dearly for her family, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved fishing and nature.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Teresa and John Harris of Harrisonville; son and daughter in-law, Robert L., Jr. (Bobby) and Dianne Betts of Jonesboro; sister and brother in-law, Mavis and Jack Dollar of Harrisonville; grandchildren, Jeremy Betts, Joel Betts and his wife Shannon, all of Atlanta, Amanda Harris Hamilton of Harrisonville, Katie Harris Owen of Carrollton; and great-grandchildren, Payton Hamilton, Emma Owen, Lilly Owen, Oliver Betts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Betts.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
