VIRGINIA WALKER Virginia Lee "Susie" Walker, 55, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Ms. Walker was born November 3, 1957, in LaGrange and lived in Hogansville most of her life. She had been employed at Yamaha Manufacturing in Newnan and was a member of Hogansville Church of God. Survivors include her daughter, Lindsey Walker; son, Matthew Walker; her mother, Gladys Walker; brothers, Johnson Earl Walker and his wife, Debbie, and Scottie Lee Walker, all of Hogansville; a very special friend whom she considered as a sister, Denise Spence, also of Hogansville; aunts; uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvie Lee Walker; and her sister, Darlene Calhoun. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
