Virginia Moore Neill

Mrs. Virginia M. Neill, 68, Newnan, passed away December 8, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Neill was born April 24, 1956, in Atlanta. She had lived in the Coweta County area for the past 48 years and attended Raymond Baptist Church in Newnan. She loved helping children and was a longtime substitute teacher for the Coweta County and Fayette County School Systems.

Survivors include her husband, William Eugene Neill of Newnan; daughter, Lillian Neill of Auburn, AL.; son, Eugene Neill of Newnan; grandchildren Levi Shepard, Andrew Shepard, and Aiden Shepard; sister, Susan E. Neill of Stone Mountain; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2024, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Dr. Michael Holdredge will officiate and interment will be in Pitts Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
