Virginia Sims Marchman

MRS. VIRGINIA S. MARCHMAN Mrs. Virginia Sims Marchman, 89, of the Louise Community of Troup County, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Marchman was born November 24, 1925, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late John Preston Sims and Leila Woodruff Sims. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she retired from the Kex Division of Milliken and Company and was the wife of the late Hubert Marchman. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Shirley and Jackie Hubbard, JoAnn and Kevin Rice all of LaGrange, Linda Shaw of Louise; son, Robert Marchman and Tammy Bowles of Louise; sister, Dorothy Fuller of LaGrange; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. The funeral service will conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A.
