MRS. VIRGINIA F. FISHER Mrs. Virginia F. Fisher, of Sharpsburg and formerly of Hogansville, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Southland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peachtree City. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, at Grace Covenant Worship Center in Hogansville. Pastor Alex Montgomery will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Sunday evening. Mrs. Fisher was born June 20, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Murphy Foster Foreman and Nimmie Boatman Foreman. For 57 years, she was a pastor's wife to her late husband, Wilburn H. Fisher, as he served as a musician, minister, and evangelist. Together, they traveled to a number of foreign countries, and then served churches in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. She was a member of Grace Covenant Worship Center. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Denise and Ray Hughes of Asheville, NC; sons and daughter in-law, David and Nancy Fisher of Sharpsburg, Daniel Fisher of Atlanta; eight grandchildren, David, Jr. and Missy Fisher, Joshua and Lisa Fisher, Jennifer and Jamie Simpson, Elisabeth and Stephen Wright, Amy Sickles, Ramey and Brian Whalen, Justin and Celia Hughes, Nathan Hughes; eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Fisher, Madison Fisher, Ashlyn Hinds, Guthrie Whalen, Isabel Fisher, Benjamin Fisher, Birdie Hughes, Charlee Simpson; sisters, Mildred Cooper and Yvonne Thompson; and brother, Bob Foreman, of Dallas, TX. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 5 until 7 Sunday evening, May 12th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13th, at Grace Covenant Worship Center in Hogansville Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
