MRS. VIRGINIA BROCK Mrs. Virginia Rowe Brock, 89, of Hogansville, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dale Prather and the Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Mrs. Brock was born September 29, 1923, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Warner and Ophelia Godfrey Rowe. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, she was a member of Highland Baptist Church, was a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing and painting. Survivors include her husband, H. C. Brock; son, Mark Brock; grandchildren, Shannon Brock and his wife, Melanie and Erin Hanner and her husband, Scotty, all of Hogansville; and six great-grandchildren, Devin Brock, Courtney Hanner, Brooklyn Brisky, Austin Hanner, Paisley Brock and Olivia Brock.
