Troy Lee Ruppel

Troy Lee Ruppel, Sr., 61, of Luthersville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born July 4, 1954 in Atlanta, Mr. Ruppel was the son of the late George Carl Ruppel and Estelle Nina Blakey Ruppel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a painter. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Baker Ruppel of Luthersville; daughter and son in-law, Nina and Edgar Villarreal of Grantville; sons Troy Lee Ruppel, Jr. of Duant, OK and Joshua Lamar Ruppel, of Luthersville, George Carl Ruppel and Brain Patrick Ruppel; sisters, Rebecca Michael of Griffin and Debbie Reese of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Lamar Ruppel; and a sister, Martha Ramey. The family will host a memorial service at a later date. Claude A.
