Tony Lamar Brown

Mr. Tony Lamar Brown, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Brown was born July 13, 1958, in LaGrange, son of the late Virgil and Catherine Ward Brown. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he was a member and deacon of Northside Baptist Church and retired as a warehouse specialist from Duracell. Survivors include his sister, Jeanette Terrell and her husband, Randy of Franklin; brother, Terry Brown and his wife, Ruth of LaGrange; several nieces and nephews; and the daughters, sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of his late wife, Mary Lee Langford Brown. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Brown. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donald Boyd will officiate and interment will be in the Mooty Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Thursday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
