MR. TOMMY D. ROYSTER Mr. Tommy Douglas Royster, 51, of Greenville, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Cecil Halsey and the Reverend Ed Halsey will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery at Roanoke, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 6 Sunday afternoon. Mr. Royster was born January 7, 1961, in LaGrange and lived in Atlanta before making his home in Meriwether County in 1986. He was employed as a plumber. Survivors include his mother, Mary Halsey Royster of Greenville; two nephews, Joshua Royster and Matthew Royster; a niece, Tabitha Ellington; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert L. Royster; and his brother, Herbert Randall Royster. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
