MR. TOMMY L. KENNEDY Mr. Tommy Levon Kennedy, 55, of Grantville, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at his home. Born June 8, 1958, in Alabama, Mr. Kennedy was the son of the late William Edward Kennedy and the late Mildred Bryce Kennedy Moore. He had lived in Grantville for the past twenty years. Survivors include his sister, Sharon Miller; brother, Virgil (Pete) Kennedy; step-sisters, Lillian Drake, Charlene Bruce, and Judy Wade; step-brother, Tim Moore; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Turman; and brothers, Edward Ray Kennedy and Larry Kennedy. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
