MR. TOMMY DOLER Mr. Tommy D. Doler, 63, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dalton Hammock will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, with military honors by the Marine Corps League. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mr. Doler was born September 27, 1949, in Hogansville, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Smith Doler. He retired from the military after more than 20 years of service, first serving in the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and later retiring as Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army after serving in Operation Desert Storm. He was then employed as a self-employed home improvement contractor and home inspector. Survivors include his wife, Tina Doler and her children, Jessica Hall, Amanda Hall, Taylor Hall, and grandchildren, Logan Jackson Holmes and Jesse Hall; his sisters, Sue Waldon of Hogansville, Darlene Merrill of Cherokee, NC; brothers, J. C. Doler, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Grantville, Charles Doler and his wife, Debra of Dalton; aunt, Betty Galloway; special nephew, Michael Kelly and his wife, Lisa; special great-nieces and nephews, Ethan Kelly, Owen Kelly, Jeneva Perry, Kadence Perry, Harlee Joe Perry; and his beloved dogs, Button, Zipper, and Gizzi. He was preceded in death by his sisters, JoAnne Williamson and Frankie Waryas. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, February 21st, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 22nd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
