Mrs. Tommie Ingram Miller, 94, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Miller was born March 2, 1928, in Dothan, Alabama, daughter of the late Wiley and Grace Dupree Ingram. She lived in many locations during her husband's 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force and lived in south Alabama for a number of years before making her home in Hogansville ten years ago. An active member of Luthersville Baptist Church, she loved to crochet and to cook, but her greatest joy was being NaNa to her three great-grandsons.
Survivors include her husband, Harold M. Miller of Hogansville; daughters, Becky Porter and her husband Mike Porter of Franklin, and Leslie Luzier of Hogansville; granddaughters and their husbands, Kellie and Roger Burks, Shannon and Anthony Pritchard; and great-grandsons, Jed and Anna Porter, Boone Smith, and Asa Burks.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, at Luthersville Baptist Church with the Reverend John Pape officiating. The burial service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, AL.
The family will receive friends at Luthersville Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Luthersville Baptist Food Pantry.
