Timothy James Johnson

Timothy James "Timmy" Johnson, 41, of Luthersville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Johnson was born June 5, 1982, in Atlanta, son of the late Tony Reban Johnson, Sr. and Kathy Sullens Johnson. A resident of Meriwether County for a number of years, he was Baptist by faith and had been employed as an installer for an automotive tire shop. Timmy was a loving father and "PaPa" and his world revolved around his children and grandbabies.

Survivors include his children, Katlyn Johnson and her husband Jermon Middlebrooks of LaGrange, Ethan Elder and Kyleigh Elder both of Gainesville, Trinity Anderson, Desirae Johnson, Madisyn Johnson, and Taleah Johnson, all of Luthersville; his grandchildren, Kaysen, Ma'Lona, and Greyson; and his sisters, Lisa and Chuck Crowder of Jenkinsburg and Keri Johnson of Dahlonega. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Johnson, Jr. and Shaun Ledford.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Donny Shelton will officiate and interment will be in Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14 and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15.
