MR. TIM WHEELUS Mr. Tim Wheelus, 46, of Hogansville, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 17, at the graveside in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in the St. Marks Community, with the Reverend Lonnie Bennett officiating. Born November 8, 1964, in LaGrange, Mr. Wheelus was a lifelong resident of Hogansville. He was a veteran of service in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the Hogansville Church of God, and was employed by Caterpillar in LaGrange. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Charlie and Sue Wheelus of Hogansville; mother and step-father, Joyce and Donny Osborne of Mayo, FL; brothers, Chad Wheelus of Roanoke, VA and Chris and Tonya Wheelus of Hogansville; step-brother, Mark and Christy Jones of LaGrange; grandfather, Ezra Whitmore, of Hogansville; and nieces and nephews, Christen Wheelus, Carmen Wheelus, Brandon Wheelus, and Jordan Jones. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Wheelus. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
