Thomas J. Yearwood

MR. THOMAS YEARWOOD

Mr. Thomas J. Yearwood, 80 of LaGrange, passed away Thursday. July 23, 2026, at LaGrange Trails Nursing Home.

Born March 15, 1946, in Heard County, Mr. Yearwood was the son of the late Lee Yearwood and Myrtie Folds Yearwood. He was a lifelong resident of LaGrange, retired from Kleen-Tex, and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Yearwood was very handy, could fix anything, and was always working on his house.

Survivors include his brother, Mike Yearwood of Alexander City, AL; a step-daughter; and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Yearwood was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Yearwood; brothers, JT, Joe, and Roger; and a sister, Shirley.
