Thomas Glen Taylor

THOMAS GLEN TAYLOR Mr. Thomas Glen Taylor, 77, of Monroe, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Taylor was born July 15, 1937, in Hogansville, son of the late Lucille Horton Taylor and the late James Henry Taylor. He was a graduate of Hogansville High School and lived in Jonesboro for more than thirty years before making his home in Monroe in 2004. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jo Ann Denney Taylor; son, Victor Glenn Taylor of Bethlehem; daughters, Tamara Jo Taylor Johnson and her husband, Mark of Bethlehem, Tasha Ann Taylor Hardegree and her husband, Matt of McDonough; five grandchildren, Joshua Denney Taylor, Travis Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Desiree Hardegree, Devin Hardegree; and a great-grandson, Brannen Joshua Taylor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Taylor. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, Interment will be in Shawmutt Cemetery in Valley, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
