Thomas Farr Siegel

MR. THOMAS F. SIEGEL Mr. Thomas Farr Siegel, 62, of Commerce, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospice House in Bogart. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend David Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 3 Saturday afternoon. Mr. Siegel was born June 13, 1949, in Franklin, and was raised in Hogansville. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and lived in Chicago for 15 years before making his home in Commerce in 2010. Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Quinn of Jefferson; his mother, Helen Hipp Siegel of Commerce; and grandchildren, Ryan Hill, Whitney Hill, and Chase Hill. He was preceded in death by his father, Abe Siegel. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
