Thomas Camp Rainey, Jr.

Mr. Thomas C. Rainey, Jr., 48, of Grantville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center. Mr. Rainey was born September 28, 1970, in Atlanta, son of the late Thomas Camp Rainey, Sr. and the late Virginia Chadwick Rainey. He was employed as a painter and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his children, Jessica Guiler and her husband Austin of Hogansville, William Joshua Rainey and his wife Rylie of Newnan; brothers, Michael Thomas Rainey and Chris McWhorter, both of Hogansville; sisters, Catherine Thomas of Hogansville, Lisa Smith of Grantville, Mariea Campbell of Hogansville; his fiancée, Dana Phillips of Hogansville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alicia Grace Rainey and Ginger Darlene Mann; and his brothers, Shawn Thomas Rainey and Dennis Earl Dewey. The family will plan a memorial service at a later time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
