Thomas Ricky Norwood

MR. RICKY NORWOOD Mr. Ricky Norwood, 60, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at his home. Mr. Norwood was born January 21, 1954, in Hogansville, son of the late Bobby and Viola Pritchett Norwood. A resident of Troup County most of his life, He was Baptist by faith and was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife, Tracie Crowe Norwood of LaGrange; son, Allen Norwood of Hogansville; daughter, Sandie Norwood of East Chicago, Indiana; step-daughter, Deadre Hyatt of LaGrange; step-son, Christopher Langley of Moreland; seven grandchildren; his brother, Mike Norwood of LaGrange; and sister, Patricia Fuller of Marietta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Norwood. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Dr. Richard Hanner officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 12 Saturday morning. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
