Thomas Barry Lunsford

Mr. Barry Lunsford, 51, of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at his home. Mr. Lunsford was born January 16, 1967, in Franklin and lived in Heard and Coweta counties most of his life. He was a truck driver, serving both local and over-the-road routes, and was Baptist by faith. Barry enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved caring for and riding horses. Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann McKinley; sisters and brothers, Amber Smith, Bobby Lunsford and his wife Kathy, Michael Lunsford, Chris Lunsford, and Terri Ann Taylor; children and grandchildren, Tyler Chatham, Faith Chatham, Jeffery Addison and his wife Angel and their son Bryan Thomas, Steve and his wife Brook and their children Evyrleigh and Avery; nieces and nephews, Nevaeh McKinley, Jaxson McKinley, Marty Lunsford, Danielle Lunsford; and great-niece Abigail. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy B. Lunsford III. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Brian Hosmer and the Reverend T. J. Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Thursday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
