Thomas Jefferson Hannah

Mr. Thomas Jefferson Hannah, 71, of Luthersville, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. Mr. Hannah was born June 10, 1946 in Meriwether County, son of the late Warner and Viola Landers Hannah. A resident of Meriwether County most of his life, he was employed as an installer by Overhead Door Company of Atlanta prior to his retirement and attended Family Worship Center in Hogansville. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Hannah of Luthersville; daughters and sons in-law, Jennifer and Wesley Beane of Newnan, Darlene and Chris Crawford of Warm Springs; sister, Maggie Horbison of Tallapoosa; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Jefferson (TJ) Hannah, Jr. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
