MR. THOMAS L. HALL Mr. Thomas L. Hall, 82, of McDonough, died Friday, October 9, 2009. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Born November 15, 1926, in Fort Gay, West Virginia, Mr. Hall was the son of the late Samuel Zatoo Hall and th late Sula Ellen Brannon Hall. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division, and retired as shop foreman for Bowman Transportation Company in Atlanta. A former resident of Columbus, he lived in Jonesboro for 26 years before making his home in McDonough 6 years ago. Survivors include his sons and daughters in-law, Tim and Linda Hall and Jeff and Susan Hall, all of McDonough; daughter, Lynn Hall of Stone Mountain; sister, Samolene Johnson of Urbana, OH; brother, Dorvan G. Hall of Puryear, TN; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Plant Hall. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
