Thomas Walton "Tommy" Hale

Mr. Thomas W. "Tommy" Hale, 52, of the Cooksville Community of Heard County, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Hale was born September 10, 1970, in Atlanta, and was a resident of Heard County for a number of years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and had been employed as a welder.

Survivors include his children, Perry Ethan Hale, Abigail, Faithann Martin Hale, Christian Perry Hale, Destiny Rachel Hale; the mother of his children, Rachel Hale; his mother, Beverlyann Odom Hale; sister, Vanessa Ann Hale; and uncles, Lamar Odom and Edward Haden Odom. He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Walton Hale.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Lynn Janney officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday.
