Theo (Billy) Janney

Mr. Theo (Billy) Janney, 85, of Hogansville and formerly of Stockbridge, passed away, Thursday, October 13, 2016, at his home. Mr. Janney was born February 28, 1931, in Rock Mills, Alabama, son of the late Claude and Eucal Benefield Janney. An Army veteran of service in the 101st Airborne during the Korean War, he lived in the Atlanta area most of his life until making his home with his nephew, Ronnie Janney, in Hogansville earlier this year. He was employed as a furniture restorer for 47 years, with Rich's and Macy's of Atlanta. Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend S. T. Janney will officiate and entombment will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 3 Sunday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
