The Reverend K. Glenn Courtney

The Reverend K. Glenn Courtney, 79, of Newnan, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan. Born March 25, 1942, in Jackson, Alabama, Rev. Courtney was the son of the late Koss Courtney and Daiseye Oswald Courtney. He was a retired Southern Baptist Minister who served in various churches throughout Alabama, Kentucky, and Florida. Survivors include his wife, Susan Courtney; son, Andrew Courtney; daughter and son in-law, Allyson and Cal Tant; and granddaughter, Megan Tant, all of Newnan. In accordance with Rev. Courtney's wishes, he will be cremated and there will not be a funeral or memorial service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
