Terry W. Worley, 55, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Terry was born September 30, 1966, in Opelika and was a lifelong resident of Opelika. He was employed as a signalman for CSX Transportation for 25 years and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. Baptist by faith and an avid Auburn fan, he was a loving husband, father and brother, was a giving and generous friend, loved humor and had an entertaining wit. Terry enjoyed playing cornhole, was an excellent drummer, enjoyed the music of the band Kiss, and loved being outdoors, especially camping and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Heather McGrady Worley; daughter, Alexa Erin Worley, both of Opelika; his father, Edward Worley; sister and brother in-law, Toni and Shawn Bidinger, all of Hogansville; brother and sister in-law, Tommy and Vonda Worley of Opelika; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Belinda Feagin Parham.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Tim Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
